Tattooing has changed a lot since Jinx Proof opened in 1996. But little has changed about Jinx Proof. First shop to open in DC since Carol Nightengale closed up shop in the early '80's. Finest shop then, Finest shop now. I am lucky enough to work with some of the best in the business. Artists that care about what they do and who they work with. This is a career, not a hobby. Always been lucky enough to have the best guest artists the city has ever seen, then and now. Not to many shops have been lucky enough to have a list of guest artists and true friends that we have. Richard Stell, Scott Sylvia, Aaron Cain, Jef Whitehead, Jeff Rassier, Hori Taku, Jason Goldberg, Chris O'donnell, Juan Puente, Mike Wilson, Eric Inksmith, Chris Nunez, Dan Higgs and probably a few more I can't remember right now. Sorry  if I forgot anyone. Oh and our good friend Ralf Ostermöller will be at the shop in a week or so.


so if you wanna get tattooed by the best, an artist that cares and will be here when you decide to get another, come see us. If you wanna get tattooed by a hipster that cares more about being verbally stroked off by his fellow facebook tattoo hipster friends instead of giving you the tattoo you want, then we are probably not the shop for you.


Oh and cheyne does some pretty cool piercing stuff, even if he does spell his name funny.
